Nordanö

Joint venture between AKF, Sampension, and Brøndby Municipality for the development of Fremtidens Brøndby Strand

  • Area: ~300,000 m²
  • Commercial adviser to Fremtidens Brøndby Strand P/S (DK)

Nordanö acted as commercial adviser to AKF, Sampension, and Brøndby Municipality for the establishment of a joint venture development company, Fremtidens Brøndby Strand P/S. The newly founded company will lead the largest transformation of Brøndby Strand in more than 50 years, with a long-term development horizon extending to 2040.

Nordanö has supported the parties as commercial advisor, helping to structure and strengthen the commercial foundation for the platform – including the business plan (strategy, phasing, programme/tenure mix, market considerations, and key commercial assumptions).

Fremtidens Brøndby Strand covers approximately 300,000 m² and represents a development value of approx. DKK 12 billion. It will deliver a vibrant, sustainable, and cohesive urban district with a strong focus on architectural quality, modern welfare services, and improved infrastructure. The plan includes approximately 2,600 new residential units – 60% owner-occupied and 40% rental – alongside new retail spaces, social housing, parking facilities, and public amenities.

By combining new housing and enhanced public amenities, Fremtidens Brøndby Strand will create a diverse and inclusive city district that fosters social cohesion and long-term urban growth. The establishment of the joint venture marks a decisive step in realising Brøndby Municipality’s vision for a modern, sustainable, and future-proof Brøndby Strand.
